CAT SITTING
For the cat:
- Plenty of love and attention
- Provide food and water according to your instructions
- Clean litter box each day of visit
- If needed, administer oral medications (to willing cats)
- Daily brushing (if this is part of normal routine & cat is non reactive)
- Playtime – we will play, cuddle even sing to your cat. However they like to have their lives enriched we will provide
- Pet first aid (if ever needed)
For the owners:

And through our daily updates you can see how much fun your kitty is having on their staycation.

We Are Insured
Though we hope nothing ever happens or goes wrong on the rare occasion it can. It is important to know that we have the insurance to cover those occasions if they do happen as pets can become very expensive very quickly.

There is always knowledge to be gained on how to give a better experience for our feline friends. At Summit Professional Services we are continuously looking to fill in gaps in what we know and add to our knowledge with new techniques.

Payments
Bookings are to be paid in full at time of booking. Summit Professional Services, accepts all major credit card.
Summit Professional Services requires a minimum 48-hour notice or more, for cancellation of cat sitting services. Cancellations inside this notice period are subject to a charge equal to one (1) days of the booked service value.
NOTE: Bookings over the Christmas and New Year’s season must be paid in full by December 1, are non-refundable and cannot be used as credit toward future visits. **NOTE there are extra fees during all holidays and stat holidays.
Early returns are subject to the cancellation policy. If more than 2 days remain in the booking term, no refund will be provided; however, a credit for future service will be applied to your account.
The client is responsible to cover any expenses over and above the cat sitting service in the event of: pet illness/veterinarian visits; obtaining food, medication, or supplies; and/or wait time related to approved emergency home maintenance. If required for visits, parking fees are the client’s responsibility, charged at cost.
Keys
You have a few options to grant us access to your home. Our preferred method is to use a lockbox. The benefit of using a lockbox is the key is then available to others that may need it – the cleaners, your contractor, etc..
If you live in an apartment or condo building with 24-hour concierge service, we will gladly pick up your keys and return your keys after each visit. Keep in mind, time spent picking up keys and returning them is included in visit time.
Please Note: Summit Professional Services, does not keep keys on file. Access to homes must be through a lockbox or concierge.
Timing of Cat Visits
When there is no medical reason to visit at a specified time, we ask owners to book ‘Any time of day’ visits. In this case we choose, based on schedule and travel route, the best time to visit with your kitties.
You also have the option to tailor your visits to your travel plans. If you are leaving early in the morning and would like a visit the same day, you can request a visit window better suited to your schedule. A surcharge for this option does apply. Premium surcharges for Morning or Evening only visits will increase to 10% per visit.
Twice-a-day visits are scheduled 8-12 hours apart. Kitties that require time-sensitive medicines will be given priority.
We do our absolute best to accommodate your visit time requests. However, please bear in mind, we are dealing with kitties and traffic… both are unpredictable.
Homes
Summit Professional Services, is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace environment for the benefit of staff, clients, and client pet(s). In order to maintain these health and safety standards, Summit Professional Services, will only visit homes that are tidy, clean, and free from infestation bugs (i.e. cockroaches, fleas, etc.).
Please ensure that cleaning supplies (hand soap, paper towels, surface cleaners, etc.) are readily available for staff use during visits.
Aggressive Cats
Summit Professional Services, does not conduct visits with cats that are deemed to have aggressive behaviours. This is to protect the safety of the staff as well as the cat.
Visits with Someone Home
Staff will not complete visits if anyone else (i.e. cleaners, roommates, etc.) are in the home. We ask that clients notify us if someone else will be in the home so we can schedule visits accordingly.

Taking your Cat to the Vet
Can’t book a vet appointment that fits into your schedule? Evening and weekend vet appointments book up quickly. We can pick up and take your cat(s) to the vet for you. Once they see the vet, the vet will call you with results and you decided about any further course of action required. Cost varies depending on time it take to complete the visit.
